(ie special trips, careers, places you have lived, any special events in your life or your families life.
(AN AHA MOMENT!!!!!!!!)

After graduation, I took a job with the National Trailways Bus Co in Washington, DC from 1959 to 1970, minus two years in the US Army (1964 to 1964. While in the Army, I was very fortunate to have qualified to play in the Army post band in Ft Gordon, GA. In January 1965, I tried out for the 3rd Army Band in Atlanta, (Ft McPhearson) and made it. Thanks to all those years with Mr. Bell.
I returned to Trailways in 1966 and left in 1970 for a job with the Falls Church City Police Dept. After a year, I realized police work was not for me so I started looking for a new job. In 1971, I was once again fortunate to become emoloyed by the Xerox Corp. in Springfield, VA. in 1973, I transferred to the Xeror Int'l Training Ctr in Leesburg, from whic i retired in 1996 after 25 years of service.
In June of 1996, my wife of 14 years, Norma and I retired to Palm Coast, FL. unfortunately, Norma passed on in July 1997 of pancreatic cancer. Because of her illness, we never had a chance to enjoy our retirement.
I became involved with Habitat for Humanity and worked with them for about six years building homes in the Palm Coast area.
In July of 2001, I received a call from Susie DuPree, who many of you will remember from WHS Class of '62. Susie and I had dated some in her senior year. Susie retired from the Federal Gov;t (CIA) in 1996 and was living in Ft Walton Beach, FL. Her last five years of work were spent overseas in Portugal and Tanzania. During that time, she was able to see many wonderful sites in Europe, the Middle East and Africa. Needless to say, she loves to travel.
Susie and I were married January 14, 2002 in Key West. Since our marriage, we have been able to take some wonderful trips, including a cruise to the Caribbean, a week at Grand Cayman Island, Las Vegas, Branson. Our most memorable trip thus far was a three week road trip last year to Yellowstone Nat'l Park and the Grand Teton Mountains Nat.l Park. Along the way, we took in as many famous sites as possible, including Gateway Arch in St Louis, Craze Horse Monument, My Rushmore, Cody, WY (Wild BillCody Hotel and Museum).
If you have never been to this part of our beautiful country, I encourage you to go if at all possible; it is magnificent. Now you know all I know and Susie is waiting for the next trip.
